NEOM & Tabuk
NLS Power supplies electrical infrastructure to NEOM, Oxagon and Tabuk region projects: substations, switchgear, generators, solar and storage equipment, airfield and obstruction lighting, and critical power systems. Remote site logistics and long feeder power quality are handled as part of the offer.
The northwest is the most demanding delivery environment in the Kingdom and the most interesting one. NEOM, Oxagon and the wider Tabuk region combine giga project construction with genuinely remote sites, which changes both what gets specified and how it gets delivered.
Grid access is the first difference. Sites often sit at the end of long feeders or run on temporary generation during construction, so voltage drop, power quality and standby capacity matter more than they would in a city. Voltage stabilisers, AVRs and power factor correction stop being optional extras. Renewable and storage equipment appears in the design far more often here than elsewhere in the Kingdom, in line with the region's energy commitments.
Logistics is the second. Getting equipment to a remote northwest site is a scheduling problem before it is a shipping cost. Lead times need to include the final leg, and phased delivery against a construction sequence beats one large consignment that sits exposed on site.
The third is aviation. The region has airstrips, helipads and tall structures that need aviation compliant lighting under GACA and ICAO rules. Airfield ground lighting and obstruction lighting are a genuine NLS specialism, and NLS already supplies aviation infrastructure work across Saudi Arabia.
NLS Power supplies package substations, LV and MV switchgear, transformers, diesel generators with transfer switching, UPS and battery systems, solar modules, inverters and battery energy storage, high mast and flood lighting, airfield and obstruction lighting, fire systems and power quality equipment into this region.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you supply aviation lighting for airstrips and helipads in the region?+
Yes. Airfield ground lighting and obstruction lighting are a core NLS specialism, supplied to ICAO Annex 14 and GACA requirements for airstrips, helipads and tall structures.
How do you handle deliveries to remote NEOM sites?+
Lead times quoted include the final delivery leg, and phased delivery against the construction sequence is arranged where it suits the programme, rather than one consignment landing early and sitting on site.
Can you supply solar and battery storage for off grid sites?+
Yes. Solar modules, hybrid inverters, mounting structures and battery energy storage systems are supplied for off grid and hybrid installations in the region.
